Roxborough Primary (grades K-2)
Roxborough Intermediate (grades 3-6)

If you have younger children, good news - Sterling Ranch residents have access to some of the best schools in Colorado. Roxborough Primary and Intermediate is an International Baccaleaureate World School, authorized to teach the Primary Years Programme. IB World Schools share a common philosophy - a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Roxborough Primary and Intermediate believes is important for students.
Here are the three programs:
Primary Years Programme (PYP): Kindergarten through 6th grade
Middle Years Programme (MYP): 7th-10th grade (Ranch View Middle School)
Diploma Program (DP): 11th-12th grade (ThunderRidge High School)
The PYP and MYP are designed for all students, regardless of ability. The Diploma Programme (DP), started in 1968, is for motivated students in grades 11 and 12 who plan to attend college after high school. DP coursework leads to an IB diploma that is widely recognized by the world's leading universities. The elementary program is inclusive of all students, kindergarten through sixth grade.

Each year volunteers from Lockheed Martin stop by Roxborough for Space Day, an event centered around fostering students' passion for all things space. Lockheed Martin has a huge facility just down Titan Road from Sterling Ranch that employs thousands of engineers and scientists (even my mother-in-law worked there for many years).
